Upload the raw DNA data you already have from 23andMe, AncestryDNA or MyHeritage. Get 20 free, evidence-linked reports on health, ancestry and traits.
Which DNA files can I upload?
GeneHealth reads the raw data file from 23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, FamilyTreeDNA, Nebula Genomics and Genera. We accept .txt, .csv, .tsv, .vcf and .gz files up to 50 MB. If your provider gives you a .zip, unzip it and upload the file inside. Our download guide shows where to find the file for each company.
Is it really free?
Yes. Uploading your file, the analysis and 20 base reports are free, and no credit card is needed. They cover your genetic summary, disease risk, traits, fitness, nutrition, skincare, ancestry, haplogroups and more. Premium deep dives and the AI assistant use credits, which you buy only if you want them.
What are premium reports and credits?
Premium reports are deeper analyses such as pharmacogenomics, longevity, chronotype, career genes and sports genetics. Each one is unlocked per DNA profile with credits, at 50 to 200 credits per report. Credit packs start at 20 credits for R$14,90. Credits never expire and there is no subscription.
How does the AI assistant work?
The assistant is powered by Claude from Anthropic. It can look up genes, variants and reports from your own analysis and explain them in plain language. Each question costs 1 credit. It is an educational tool and does not replace advice from a doctor.
Is my DNA data private?
Your file is encrypted at rest on Cloudflare R2 and access is restricted. We never sell your genetic data or share it with advertisers or data brokers; the only processors are the ones listed in our privacy policy (for example our AI provider, when you ask the assistant a question), under LGPD and GDPR. You can delete any analysis from your dashboard at any time, which removes your DNA file, extracted variants and reports; to close your whole account, email [email protected] and it is removed on request.
Is GeneHealth medical advice?
No. GeneHealth reports are informational and educational. They are not a diagnosis, not a medical device and not a substitute for a licensed clinician or genetic counselor. A genetic variant shows an association, not a certainty. Talk to a healthcare professional before you make any medical decision.
How is GeneHealth different from 23andMe or Promethease?
Your test provider shows results from its own set of reports. Promethease produces a long, literature-based list of variants. GeneHealth reads the same raw file and organizes it into readable reports with evidence tiers and PubMed links, plus an AI assistant to explain them. It does not replace the DNA test itself, so you keep your provider account.
